I am a scientist with more than 15 years of experience in medical image analysis and computer vision, working at the intersection of pathology, oncology, and artificial intelligence. As an Associate Professor and Research Group Leader of Artificial Intelligence for Precision Medicine, I lead a multidisciplinary team in the pathology department of the Radboud University Medical Center, developing artificial intelligence models to better understand diseases, discover novel biomarkers, and help physicians to improve their routine diagnostics and select the right treatments to help patients.
